Roby Technologies collects data about you when you use our mobile applications, websites and other online products and services (collectively, the “Services”), and through other interactions and communications you have with us. If you reside in the United States, the Services are not applicable in that country. The Privacy Statement applies to data collected and used by Roby Technologies Maroc. If you reside outside the United States, the Services are provided by Roby Technologies Maroc., and its Privacy Statement applies to data collected and used by Roby Technologies Morocco.

Scope

This Privacy Statement (the “Statement”) applies to individuals worldwide who use our applications or Services to request our transportation, delivery or other on-demand services (the “Users”). This Statement does not apply to data we collect from or about drivers, couriers, partner transport companies, or any other person who uses the licensed Roby Technologies platform (collectively, “Drivers”). If you use the Services as both a User and a Driver, the respective privacy statements will apply to your different uses.

Collection of data

Data you provide to us

We collect data that you provide to us directly, for example when you create or modify your account, request services on request, contact customer support or more generally when you communicate with us. This data may include: name, email address, telephone number, postal address, profile picture, payment method, items requested (for delivery services), delivery slips and other information you choose to provide to us.

Data we collect when you use our Services

When you use our Services, we collect data about you in the following general categories:

Location Data: When you use the Services for transportation or delivery, we collect precise location data regarding the journey from the Roby Technologies application used by the Driver. If you authorize the Roby Technologies application to access location services through the authorization system that your mobile operating system uses (the “Platform”), we may also collect the precise location of your mobile phone when the application runs in the foreground or background. We may also obtain your approximate location from your IP address.

Contact Information: If you allow the Roby Technologies app to access your mobile phone’s address book through the authorization system used by your mobile’s platform, we may access and store names and contact information from your address book to facilitate social interactions through our Services and for any other purposes described in this Statement, or at the time of consent or collection.

Transaction Data: We collect transaction information relating to your use of our Services, including the type of service requested, the date and time the service was provided, the amount charged, the distance traveled and any other information associated with the operations. Also, if someone uses your promotion code, we may associate your name with that person.

Usage and Preference Information: We collect information about how you and site visitors interact with our Services, the preferences expressed and the settings chosen. In some cases, we do this through the use of cookies, pixel tags and other similar technologies that create and maintain unique identifiers. Mobile Phone Data: We may collect information about your mobile device including, for example, hardware type, operating system and version, software and file names and versions, language chosen, unique device identifier, advertising identifiers, serial number, movement data and mobile network information.

Call and SMS Data: Our Services facilitate the ommunications between Users and Drivers. In order to be able to facilitate this service, we receive call data, including the day and time of the call or SMS message, the telephone number of the parties, as well as the content of the SMS message.

Log Data: When you interact with the Services, we collect server logs which may include information such as IP addresses, days and dates of calls, application characteristics or page views, server outages, application and other system activities, browser type, and third-party site or service you were using before interacting with our Services.

Important Data Regarding Platform Permissions

Most platforms (iOS, Android, etc.) have defined certain types of mobile data that applications cannot access without your consent. In addition, these platforms have different authorization systems to obtain your consent. The iOS platform will alert you the first time that the Roby application wishes to obtain authorization to access certain types of data and will give you the choice to accept (or not) this request. Mobiles running Android will notify you of the permissions the Roby app wants before you first use the app, and your use of it will constitute an agreement on your part. Sometimes these permissions require more explanation than the platforms themselves provide, and the permissions we request will change over time, which is why we’ve created these pages to serve as resources for reference and updated for our users.

Data we collect from other sources

We may also collect information from other sources and combine that with information we collect through our Services. For example :

If you choose to link to, create, or log into your Roby account with a payment provider (e.g., Google Wallet) or social network (e.g., Facebook), or if you view a separate website or application that uses our API (or whose API we use), we may receive data about you or your logins from that site or application.

We may use the data we collect about you to:

To provide, maintain and improve our Services, including, for example, to facilitate payments, send receipts, provide the products and services you request (and send related information), develop new features, provide customer support services to Users and Drivers, developing security features, authenticating users, and sending product updates and messages of an administrative nature;

Perform internal operations, including, for example, to prevent fraud and misuse of our Services; troubleshoot software bugs and operational issues; perform data analysis, testing and research; monitor and analyze usage and activity trends;

Send or facilitate communications (i) between you and a Driver, such as estimated time of arrival (ETA); or (ii) between you and any of your contacts, at your request, in connection with your use of certain features, such as leads, invitations, carpool requests or time sharing expected arrival;

Send you communications that we believe will be of interest to you, including information about products, services, promotions, news and events from Roby Technologies and other companies, where permitted and in accordance with applicable local law; process entries relating to contests, games or other promotions, and deliver corresponding rewards;

Personalize and improve the Services, including offering or recommending features, content, social networks, prospects and advertisements.

We may transfer the information described in this Statement to, process and store it in the United States and other countries, some of which may have less protective data protection laws than those in force in the country. where you reside. Where this is the case, we will take appropriate steps to protect your personal data in accordance with this Statement.

If we notify you more generally and you consent to this sharing; and

In synthetic and/or anonymous form that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

Social Sharing Features

The Services may incorporate social sharing features and other related tools that allow you to share actions you take on our Services with other apps, sites, or media, and vice versa. Using these features allows you to share information with your friends or the public, depending on the settings you make with the social sharing service. Please refer to the privacy statements of these social sharing services for more information on how they handle the data you provide or share through them.

Analytics and advertising services provided by third parties

We may allow third parties to provide us with audience measurement and analytics services; to broadcast advertising messages on our behalf on the Internet; to track and report on the performance of these advertisements. These entities may use cookies, web beacons, SDKs and other technologies to identify your mobile when you visit our site and use our Services, as well as other online sites and services. Your choices

Information about your account

You can correct your account information at any time by logging into your online account or the one on the application. If you wish to cancel your account, please email us at support@roby.taxi Please note that in some cases we may retain certain information about you because we are required to do so by law, or for legitimate business purposes in the limit provided by law. For example, if your account shows a credit or debit balance, or if we believe that you have committed fraud or violated our Terms and Conditions, we may seek to resolve the issue before erasing your data.

Permission to access

Roby complies with individual requests regarding access to, correction and/or deletion of the personal data it retains in accordance with applicable legislation.

By way of derogation from the provisions of article 43 of law 09-08 relating to the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data, and may transfer personal data to a State that does not meet the conditions provided for in article 43, and in accordance with the provisions of article 44 of the same law, we are required to transfer the data collected to storage servers abroad subcontracted to the company AMAZON AWS. Therefore, you consent to your personal data being transferred and give your positive consent by ticking the relevant box.

Your consent is given freely and without coercion and can be freely withdrawn.

Location data

We request authorization to collect precise data from your mobile’s location on our application via the authorization system that your mobile’s operating system uses. If you initially authorize the collection of this data, you can return to your account later.

Voix by changing the location settings of your mobile phone. However, this will limit your ability to use certain features of our Services. In addition, disabling the application on your mobile that allows us to collect your precise location data will not limit our ability to collect the location data of your journey from a Driver’s mobile, nor our ability to obtain your approximate location from your IP address.

Contact information

We may also request permission to collect and sync contact information from your mobile to our application through the authorization system that your mobile’s operating system uses. If you initially authorize the collection of this data, Users of the iOS system can later change their choice by changing the contact settings of their mobile phone. The Android platform does not allow such a setting.

Promotional Communications

You can opt out of receiving marketing messages from us by following the instructions in those messages. If you choose to no longer receive them, we may nevertheless send you non-promotional communications about the Services you have requested, or our current business relationships.

Your California Privacy Rights

California law allows California residents to request certain information about how their data is shared with third parties for direct marketing purposes. Roby Technologies does not share personally identifiable information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes, unless you authorize us to do so.

We may change this Statement from time to time. If we materially change the way we process your personal data, or this Statement, we will notify you through the Services or by other means, such as email.
